Aldo seems to be bringing out one really cool style per season (with 'Guerette' coming out top for A/W 09) and I'm tempted to say that this new design is their latest triumph. Made from soft leather and available in black or uber-chic pale grey, the almond-toed shoes are very now.
Overly 'hard' looking footwear is on its way out this season, but bendy leather shoes with more delicate studs are the way forward. These remind me a little bit of current Shoewawa fave Bionda Castana's studded sandals, which really defined the summer season last year, and it's good to see this reflected on this season's high street.
