Raphael Young isn't a name we see a lot here in the UK, but since New York Fashion Week is now in full swing, I thought I'd have a closer look at what's going on across the pond.
Young's Spring/Summer collection is of interest because I think it really sums up what's going to be hot in the coming season. There's a big emphasis on contrast, with lots of classically 'summery' markers, like cork and wood, offset by darker, more wintry trends, like black patent and metallic leather.
