Almost every corner of the UK has seen some sun this week, and the result in most quarters has been frantic and in some cases over-enthusiastic wardrobe re-vamping by sun-starved Brits. I've certainly had my sandals on for the first time this year (although I haven't ditched the tights just yet) and many are heading for the shops to buy new pairs.
I'm very tempted by these taupe wooden-heeled sandals from Dorothy Perkins, which I think are just delightful. The soft colouring and materials are spot on for the summer, and the triple strap adds a sexy frisson. Could these be good enough to usurp my plans to buy a pricier pair of Swedish Hasbeens? It's a close call...
