ELLE wants to turn a shopgirl into a stylist
We've all seen them: those astonishingly well-turned-out girls (and boys) who work tirelessly to create the perfect image in the UK's high street stores. They're right on the front line of fashion, and ELLE has decided, quite rightly, that it's time they got some recognition.
So, as part of the magazine's 25th anniversary celebrations, they're offering the opportunity of a lifetime to one retail worker with a passion for fashion. The six month project will work along the lines of an X-Factor style talent search, and the winner will get the chance to style a shoot for ELLE, an internship on the magazine and money-can't-buy mentoring from ELLE's team of fashion experts. The competition opens on Friday, so we'll keep you posted on where to enter.
