Sometimes, a shoe is given a name that fits it rather brilliantly. Take these platform heels on the left from ASOS (£45). Named the PING platform heels, that's *exactly* what I want to do to the elastic section in the front. Ping it.
Initially, the shoe is a little underwhelming. Brown platform heels are all over the place, and the elastic section doesn't exactly make it stand out. Give it a closer inspection though, and you'll notice the delicate stitching on the front, giving a bit of a brogue effect, the seamed heel, and the chunky platform section make this a firm favourite.
