Continuing our transatlantic theme for today, we bring you a couple of highlights from the Sex and the City 2 premiere, where the most exciting footwear did not seem to be coming from the better-known stars of the show (who mostly obscured their footwear with their sweeping Valentino gowns - shocking), but from celebrity audience members who'd been inspired by the famous foursome's love of shoes.
Reality TV star Whitney Port and Gossip Girl star Michelle Trachtenberg led the way, with high heels and serious studs, shown off by the daringly short skirts they'd chosen to wear on the red carpet. Michelle Trachtenberg wore some incredible jewel-embellished heels (left) that we just had to see close up, while Whitney Port opted for a pair of cage ankle boots.
