Shoe talent at Graduate Fashion Week
Graduate Fashion Week is now underway, giving many new designers a much-needed foothold in an industry that's notoriously hard to crack. More than 1000 fashion students and recent graduates are showcasing their work at Earl's Court for this year's event, and we've homed right on on those who want to be the next Nicholas Kirkwood or Christian Louboutin.
Pictured above are our favourites so far: colourful, embellished heels by Northumbria student Ludmilla Maida. The eye-popping shoes went down a storm on the runway, where they complemented her bright, screen-printed clothes and bells adorning the footwear jingled along as the models walked.
Also grabbing our attention were Edinburgh student Jett Sweeney's faux-fur embellished boots, above. Perhaps this design tweak will solve the perennial problem of peep-toe boots in winter?
