In what looks sure to be a dynamite partnership, Nicholas Kirkwood (top left) is to team up with designer Peter Pilotto, who wowed audiences at London Fashion Week in February, with a series of bold, graphic pieces like the ensemble pictured above right.
Kirkwood has quickly become one of the hottest names in footwear, having been given the seal of approval by Louboutin-loving SJP and voted hottest designer by Shoewawa readers in 2009. His recent collection for Liberty shows that his iconic designs lend themselves well to collaboration, and we can only wait with excitement to see what he'll create with influence from Peter Pilotto. The latter's exuberance combined with Kirkwood's talent for structure and form should really be something special, and we can expect it to make its debut at LFW in September.
