Aldo has introduced a new category on its website this seaon: "shooties" somewhere between a shoe-boot and a bootie, these are a little higher than both, with shoe-like trappings such as peep-toes and skinny heels (at least that's how I understood the definition!)
Odd neologisms aside, I rather like this style. 'Norkus' is a military-chic boot that can be worn folded over as shown here, or further up the ankle for a more imposing look. It's available in black, khaki and taupe, and if you can get over the peep-toes in winter thing, should do you proud in coming months.
