Louis Vuitton's long-awaited spring/summer '11 catwalk show rounded off Paris Fashion Week yesterday with a collection full of colour and drama, inspired by glamorous Shanghai. Bursting with high camp energy, the collection gave onlookers the fashion week finale they wanted, but as ever, we couldn't tear our gaze from the shoes.

This collection's focus was all about the heel, with minimal fuss around the remainder of the shoes, many of which were fastened on with simple ribbon ties. The heels, however, were in some cases bent at angles like horses' legs, while others were brightly-coloured to match the rich garments in the range.

Some of the heels bent at absurd angles, giving a comical 'wonky' look set off by glitter and vibrant colour. Tasselled shoes created an illusion of floating on an invisible heel, while adding to the glamour and style.
