In today's celebrity world, you know you've really made it when Christian Louboutin names a shoe after you, and Blake Lively has now gained entry into that particularly elite club. The Gossip Girl star has been BFFs with the designer for a while now, and Louboutin has already cited Lively as a Muse, but this is the first style officially dedicated to her.
Blake is said to have spotted the style while it was still a work-in-progress at Louboutin's Paris atelier, where the pair had been sightseeing aboard the designer's Vespa scooter earlier in the day. She proclaimed that she would like to 'sleep with it under my pillow every night' (sounds a bit uncomfortable, Blake), prompting Louboutin to Christen the strappy masterpiece 'The Blake'. A delighted Lively later commented: "That was insane, it's like my greatest accomplishment." And you know what? We might just have to agree with her on that one!
