beyond-skin-shoes2.jpgIf you're not yet acquainted with Beyond Skin, the vegan shoe brand that makes leather look like an unnecessary accessory, you really ought to check them out. Whether you're a meat-avoider yourself or just want to experiment with some new materials and styles, they quite simply make some of the cutest shoes out there.

I recently went to check out what's on offer at Beyond Skin, having loved a few pairs of their shoes in the past, and lured in by a tempting sale. There certainly are some good bargains on offer, with some stylish shoe-boots in particular that are worth a look.

I've picked out my two favourite pieces from the range: the 'Marylin' open-sided black faux-suede and gold boots are particularly elegant, and would finish of a 20s-inspired outfit just beautifully. For more every day wear with a twist I love the 'Toni' Burton-print booties pictured right: I can see them looking awesome with a pair of sharp black jeans and a red sweater.

Marylin black and gold lace-ups: £129 (was £163)
Toni Burton-print lace-up bootie: £87 (was £148)
