kate-middleton-prada-shoes.jpgFinally, the Duchess of Cambridge has cast aside her high street fare and pulled out another pair of designer heels; only the second we've seen on her Canadian tour since day one, when she boarded a plane in Manolo Blahnik.

These classic blue pumps are by Prada, and being such a coy avoider of those pricey labels, we can only imagine Kate was persuaded to wear them on realising that they matched her Alexander McQueen sailor dress perfectly!

And it certainly works well together: look at how the slightly dusky blue picks up the stripe in the hem of the dress: just adorable. The couple were at an engagement in Pronvince House when the picture was taken. This was the location for the Charlottestown conference of 1864 where the idea of the nation of Canada forged.
