velvet-boots.jpgI dread to think how these boots would fare on a wet and drizzly day like today, but assuming you'll always be lucky with the weather (personally I think wearing my suede shoes causes rain), these shoes will make a rich and luxurious addition to your autumn winter wardrobe. There's no denying that those colours will match up a treat with the season's dark staples, and the shape of the boots is beautifully versatile.

We like the way the velvet flocking carries all the way around the boots and on to the heels, though again this might make them a little impractical. These are a good choice if you love the tactile fabric but don't want to wear slippers - the other footwear style that's currently flying the flag for velvet.
