Friday foot-treat: Rupert Sanderson Palma
I've often dreamed about owning a pair of Rupert Sanderson shoes: they're just so beautifully designed and constructed, always with an original design feature or two and, of course, lashings of class.
This style is interesting because it incorporates some of the current big trends: toe-caps, slipper-style 'tongue' and pointy toes, and turns them into something that's both entirely new and utterly classic. That's Sanderson's biggest talent, and it's what makes his shoes so innovative yet universally wearable.
The 'Palma' style is made from perforated cream leather with shiny black leather cap and heel. We'd love to see it worn with a structured black dress and some statement jewellery.
