florence_welch_shoes.pngEver the fashion maverick, Florence and the Machine singer Florence Welch has been seen strutting her stuff in one of Christian Louboutin's controversially-flat shoe styles last week. She wore his 'Intern' decorated loafers along with her very '70s double velvet look at a recent event.

At six foot tall it's easy to see why Flo might favour some of the designer's less lofty shoe styles, and we think she wears them exceptionally well. She joins Jessie J in the line-up of celebs who not only love their flatties, but look amazing in them, too. The velvety look of that trouser suit is picked up perfectly by the lustrous wine-coloured main body of the shoes, and the spiky studs add an extra edge.

If designer flats are your thing right now, check out our gallery to see more where that one came from - including pieces from such legends as Stella McCartney, Pedro Garcia and Giambattista Valli. What's not to love about a gorgeous shoe that's also easy to wear?
