purple-wedge-skovgaard.jpgAs far as colour goes, it's really anything goes this season: if you like pale pastels you can wear those, but if you're into strong jungle colours, neons or metallics you can have those, too. One of our favourite shades on shoes is a hue that doesn't get used especially often, and that's dark grape. Camilla Skovgaard has used it in her wedge boots with their iconic toothed soles, and we think the combination is stunning. Seen up close the grain of the leather is absolutely beautiful, too.

If you've fallen head over heels for these shoes we're sorry to say you'll have to pay £399 for them, but Skovgaard shoes do occasionally go on sale so it's worth keeping an eye out. But the high street is going to get into grape in a big way once the spring summer season hits, so you shouldn't have to go far for something that will have a similar impact. But you'll have to look a little bit further to have anything like that fabulous serrated effect on the soles!
