TOMS go floral for spring
My trusty old TOMS have seen better days, so I am thinking of trading in my black pair for something a little more decorative. This is the summer to get bolder and brighter after all! Top of the list at the moment are these very cheery smudged floral 'Cobel' flats, which are almost as good as some of the lovely customised TOMS we've seen on our travels - so many of which are hand-painted with bursts of colour and flowers.
While I have to admit that they do remind me a little of my mother's pantaloons in the 1980s, there is something really appealing about the light and bright colours used in the pattern on these shoes. They're actually a clever way to cop out of wearing the flowers all over, as you can get all the floral love you need just by teaming these with a pair of coloured jeans. Any shade in the fabric will do (and they've got yellows, red, blues and aqua tones which is plenty to be getting on with!) so these shoes are deceptively easy to match.
