Trainer Tuesday: Havaianas Essentia
We all love Havaianas for being the fabulous flip-flop people from Brazil - but their sidelines have so far all been pretty nifty too. From wellies to brollies and now fully-fledged casual shoes, the defining feature of all the footwear that Havaianas make is the legendary rubber sole. which is designed to get you safely and comfortably across burning hot sands and whatever obstacles the urban "beach" of your daily life may throw at you.
Their latest collection is the Essentia range, and there are some lovely neon-trimmed styles out there that tick every box for summer 2012. And in case you were ready to forget that Havaianas make some of your favourite beach shoes, there's a little rubber flip-flop charm dangling from the lace, too. Cute, if you like that sort of thing - easily removable if you don't...
The trainer style Havaianas are new for spring/summer 2012 and come in nine eye-popping colours. Each style is sold with two difference choices of lace, for those who like to customise their footwear (also great if you just know that you're going to get the first pair grubby within a week of wearing them!).
The colours available include every colour under the fashion sun, and promise a 'burst of Brazil' in every shade. We can't help but love the thought that's gone into naming the colours, which include 'tickly toe pink', 'sugarloaf mountain grey' (pictured above), 'parrot feather' red and 'wild night' black.
Havaianas Essentia shoes are making their way into shops now, and cost £40. You can check out the full range here for more images.
