yellow_sandal.pngIf you're looking to embrace the brights and minimalist glamour of summer 2012, Kurt Geiger is a fantastic port of call right now (isn't it always? - Ed), with a growing selection of neons and eye-popping pastel shades. These 'Ginny' heels have just dropped in store and they are £140 at the Kurt Geiger website if you're looking to indulge...

It's one of three colourways in this particular line, alongside black and duck egg blue, and we think it's an awesome style to see you through the spring 'daffodil season' all the way into high summer. The contrasting jade crystal embellishments are an interesting twist on the other two shades, whose gemstones are the same colour as the leather.

Perhaps the most striking feature of this sandal however is the heel, which is a true stiletto made from a metal alloy. Metal heels can be a difficult look to pull off if you are remotely afraid of looking tacky, but we love the way this heel has been fashioned: the soft curve at the top gives a cute 'pencil' effect and the heel itself is cut to be square rather than spherical - a really interesting look.

If you like these shoes the chance are you'll love the rest of Kurt Geiger's current range, which is one of their biggest and boldest yet - including accessories, sunglasses, bags and beachwear alongside the usual shoes. Check out our gallery taken from the brand's spring press day, which shows many of the hottest styles that are still yet to arrive.
