Cheryl Cole's neon shoes steal the show
Cheryl Cole had the red-tops all of a tizzy this morning, after appearing in one of her most daring 'outfits' yet as she shot the video to her new single, Call My Name. Stepping out in a pair of leopard-print hot pants, the 28-year-old singer prompted straplines such as 'Check out that bottom!' from the Daily Mirror (see the look here). Admittedly it was hard not to, but the one thing capable distracting attention from Cheryl's fabled behind was her utterly incredible shoes...
The tri-colour neon heels were a great way to balance out the unspeakably skimpy pants and bra-let, and diverted the viewer's gaze at least momentarily down to Cheryl's feet. They are made by Brian Atwood - the name that keeps coming up in our top picks of designer shoes for summer 2012 - and he's gone all out with the luminous love to create this absolutely arresting platform style. The pink heels in particular really stand out, and are the perfect look for summer: we've spotted them over on Net-a-Porter, where they are available at £670.
Cheryl teamed the shoes with jungle style elements including a fabulous tropical print jacket featuring brightly-coloured parrots and the aforementioned animal print shorts. Looking tanned and toned, it seemed that Cheryl had been preparing for this minimally-clad comeback for some time!
