House of Harlow 1960 have carved out a laid-back yet luxurious niche in embellished flat moccasins that are tough enough to wear anywhere, and for the autumn winter season the popular flat styles are set to return. But alongside the familiar leopard print and stud detailing there's a distinctly more dark and Gothic angle to the shoes, which feature heavy beading and skull motifs. Here are some close-ups we took of the newest styles at their recent A/W 2012 press day.
The label, which is the creative brainchild of Nicole Richie has always tended towards the dark and the opulent with a hint of 1970s sophistication, but this new collection takes the established mood to another level. Alongside the moccasins there are some amazing high heeled shoes, including a truly impressive metal-heeled suede court with a silver snake coiling around the heel. These are shoes that are made to be talked about and draw the best kind of attention!
