Trainer Tuesday: Vans black and white stitch shoes
It's about this time of year that we tend to start stocking up on casual shoes to see us through the rest of what we're now calling the moderate-to-warm season. Whether you're team TOMs, team Skechers, Team Converse or a glory-hunting mixture of all of them, Vans are always a good all-rounder that take a little of what's great about every brand - and you can't go wrong with their most basic styles.
The black Era shoe is one of the most iconic casual trainer styles out there at the moment, and we really like the way the white stitching contrasts on the canvas. The look has been exaggerated further on the brand's limited edition Rise Against old skool skater shoe which is now pretty much impossible to buy anywhere - but still a style we'd love to have on our feet this season.
If contrast is your thing, Vans have done it even better for spring/summer 2012 with their amazing brogue with a twist a casual take on the popular menswear-inspired look. You can still pick them up at Schuh, so if it's a cool monochrome look you're after this summer, Vans have got it covered!
