aase-hopstock.pngIt's always great to discover a new label that you instantly fall for, and our latest footwear crush is Aase Hopstock. The Norwegian designer has brought her delicious range of shoe-candy to our shores, and we're already hungry for more - that's why we're all over her forthcoming collection for autumn/winter 2012, which includes some stunning wedges and brogues for the discerning dresser...

They include the beautiful two-tone wedge ankle boots pictured above, which are full of gorgeous touches: check out the gold-capped leather laces, fluffy warm interior and slender gold strap at the top. Also rating highly in our estimation is the gold and brown 'Novelda' brogue, pictured below, which is straight out of jazz-shoe heaven, and surely any brogue-lover's dream...

The leather of the shoes' upper is beautifully woven, capped with tawny leather panels. Again, the leather laces add a look of quality, and we love the way the woven section runs right through on to the slightly elevated heel - great for those who prefer not to wear a completely flat shoe. These pieces are bursting with character, and have shot right to the top of our wishlist!
