louboutin-reptile-shoes.pngShoes have been getting scalier and more animal-looking for a few seasons now, and not being one to hold back when it comes to avant-garde style, Christian Louboutin is now leading the way in this beautiful/creepy look. Just look at these incredible Palace 120 sandals: they look like they could have walked straight out of the Natural History Museum...

Shimmering in a range of blue and green shades, the shoes are encrusted with faceted Swarovski crystals and a fierce scattering of spikes. The minimalist section at the front is an interesting and unusual counter point to the hefty heels with their heavy armour plating, providing the dazzling contrast the Louboutin is so great at.

If you've simply got to have the shoes you'll need to stump up $1,475 over at Net-a-Porter where they dropped as part of the spring/summer Louboutin collection last week. They look particularly incredible viewed from the back, where the trademark red creates an incredible splash of colour against all that green. Incroyable!
