Anna Dello Russo in Blumarine psychedelic florals
Editor-at-Large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan Anna Dello Russo has never exactly been a shrinking violet when it comes to wardrobe choices, but this dazzling combination is daring even by her standards. The self-declared 'fashion maniac' truly lived up to her reputation as she attended Milan Fashion Week for Menswear over the weekend, dressed only in what looked like a printed shawl wrapped around her mid-section - and a pair of Blumarine's neon green flower sandals.
The shoes, which were debuted in the label's spring/summer 2012 catwalk show back in September, are made from translucent fluoro 'petals' in many shades of yellow and green and are utterly out of this world: they drew enough attention as they were walked down the runway in Milan; just imagine the stir they must have caused as Anna wore them on that same city's streets!
Certain shoes take a huge amount of confidence to pull off, and we suspect it takes an attitude like Anna's to ever feel comfortable in creations such as these. We can't help but admire her gutsiness!
