YAY OR NAY: Clarks Serin wedge
I'm seriously considering buying Clarks' Serin wedge (£79 at Clarks) but am wavering over a few details, even though my feet are just crying out to wear them! So can you help me out with my dilemma today? The first is a simple one: I can't decide whether to get them in the classic tan colour, easy-to-match black (as above), red, white or chestnut brown. That's he easy part over...
More importantly, there's also no denying that they do have a slight orthopedic feel to them, but I'm not convinced this is a bad thing: at least one other sandal brand that's hugely popular right now has a very 'healthy' look about it, and that's Swedish Hasbeens - so does it really matter that the shoes look like they wouldn't punish your feet? By all accounts they lengthen the legs in quite a flattering way too. I love the look of the shoes: they have the retro-factor of the Clarks Originals range, and are in fact modeled on a lovely old style that many of us wore as children.
But I can't make up my mind without you help. What do you think?
