The Queen and Kate Middleton show us their shoes
We've seen some really lovely images this week of The Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge sitting down to have a good old gossip (while engaging in some important Royal business as well, we're sure) and here's another shot of the two most photographed Regal ladies of 2012 having a right Royal catch-up. On this occasion they were attending a Diamond Jubilee event at Vernon Park in Nottingham.
Remarkably. Kate isn't wearing her favourite nude heels, but she's gone even more sensible this time with a pair of navy blue leather pumps with a thick, moderate-height heel and no embellishment whatsoever. The shoes do not appear to be from Kate's high street haunt L.K Bennett, where most shoes currently available have a high gloss finish. This pair, with their matte surface, match Kate's navy handbag perfectly.
The Queen, meanwhile, is wearing a pair of pilgrim-style mid heels with a gold chain detail and a shiny surface. Did she have them made bespoke? Either way, both women wore the smartest and most sensible of shoes and coordinated perfectly with each other! Do you think they're perhaps discussing the details of their next outfit?
