beatrice-and-eugenie-shoes.pngTheir taste in hats may not be a hit with everybody, but no-one can deny that the shoes worn by Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice were both stylish and cool: testament to their love for pieces that one has to admit are just a little bit too hot for Royalty. And we have to take our hats off to them for that...

Better still, the footwear was bought on the British high street, proving that it's not just Kate Middleton who's 'keeping it real' with Tulisa-style dresses and Reiss shoes. The camel-coloured spiked-heel courts are from Kurt Geiger and are available to buy for £195 here. We're not sure we'd want to wear such precariously spiky heels on a boat, so bravery points all round for the York sisters!

We're also big fans of the same style in a hot coral pink, which presumably would have been a little too much for the floral boat. Or, at least, would have been disallowed for clashing with Kate's red Alexander McQueen frock.
