Marion Cotillard in Louboutins at the Dark Knight Rises premiere
Marion Cotillard kept up the fantasy theme when she rocked up to the premiere of new Batman flick The Dark Knight Rises in New York last night. The French actress, 36, wore a white tulle Christian Dior creation with a swan-like frothy skirt that divided opinion among onlookers - but we were just mesmerised by her shoes!
The slender strapped, silver-toned sandals, which had pointy spikes that looked like something straight out of Gotham City, diverted all attention from the ivory frills and added a touch of the sublime. Matched with her sky blue nail polish, they gave a very futuristic overall look to the ensemble.
The shoes are a Christian Louboutin creation, called 'Lady Max', which are also available in gold over at Net-a-Porter where they are priced at £895. We're not sure that Cotillard quite pulled them off with this dress - they demand something a little more sleek and minimalist, but we have to admire her for trying such an out-there style!
