Pied a Terre have been getting a lot of interest this week after Kate Middleton wore a pair of their espadrille wedges on a football pitch(!) at a school sports day. luckily for us, the brand is also having an epic sale at the moment, with reductions on many of its prices. The shoes normally retail at around the £150 mark, but many now have 60% off or more and are much more wallet-friendly. The 'Liola' style, pictured above is now just £36 at John Lewis, reduced from £130.

This is one very beautiful wedge, with a cheery striped pattern at the heel, a plaited raffia section and lovely caramel and beige colour scheme. It would be perfect for wearing with denim or similar colours, perfect for late summer days.

Also ringing our bells is this pretty 'Aconite' style in beige patent leather. Its flattened bow reminds us just a little of the origami-inspired styles by Beatrix Ong, while the rounded toe and neutral colouring gives it that very elegant, easy-on-the-eye look beloved of the Duchess of Cambridge. It's also been given a hefty reduction, now available for £57 from an original £140.
