Trainer Tuesday: Keds summer selection
This week, we're loving Keds shoes for summer 2012: simple, plimsoll-style pumps that are super easy to wear and add a subtly sporty vibe to your look. And this year, in addition to their popular plain canvas styles, they've introduced some trend-led and seasonal patterns to the range, which we're really loving: the Navy blue Ikat print lace-up shoes pictured right are a particular favourite, ready to match with denim and other casual fabrics. They're available to buy here for £34.99 if you like them as much as we do.
On the other end of the design scale, the plain white rounded pumps, pictured left, are also catching our eye: this simple 'Skimmer' style goes well with almost anything you might throw at it, giving a sport-luxe edge to your look. We love the navy trim and the chunky sole: it's available for just £14.99 currently on sale at Schuh. Both styles are enormously comfortable to wear, thanks to the addition of a cushioned insole that follows the contours of the feet.
Keds have been creating casual shoes (or, as they originally put it 'feel like every day's a Saturday' shoes) since 1916, so they know more than a little about laid back comfort and style. Although proud to be an all-American brand, Keds shoes are available in plenty of UK stores including Office, Schuh and online at Rubbersole and Javari.
