We've been scrutinising the Duchess of Cambridge's footwear choices even more closely than usual this week, as she's attended so many Olympic events - even stopping to take part in a bit of footie action at a school sports day to show just how much of a 'sport' she is. We've seen a few new pieces come out of the wardrobe, but the style is still very much consistent with her usual fare: wedges, nude heels and patriotic navy blues for the queen of smart-casual chic.

One of the standout pieces on Kate's feet this week were a pair of navy blue Stuart Weitzman espadrille wedges, amusingly named 'Corkswoon'. Predictably enough, this style has now sold out everywhere in the UK, but you can still find something very similar if you're chanelling Kate Middleton's look this week. The closest approximation we've found comes from a brand that Kate herself already loves and wears: Pied a Terre (she was seen wearing Pied a Terre nude heels at the Royal Academy of Arts on Monday night) so we're sure she'd be happy to pull on a pair of their navy espadrille wedges, pictured above.

Available to buy from John Lewis at £110, the shoes are also available in Kate's other favourite colour: nude. It's almost as if the designers saw her coming!
