J.K Rowling in Jimmy Choo 'Anouk' patent pumps
Legendary British author and creator of the Harry Potter series J.K Rowling spoke to an audience at London's Southbank centre last night about her new novel The Casual Vacancy, life as a writer post Potter, and her inspiration for the new book which covers the unlikely subject of local government. She then signed copies of the hardback for most of the 900 lucky fans, completing the mammouth task in a highly efficient hour-and-a-half.Ms. Rowling looked incredibly stylish and beautiful as ever during the talk, and since enquiring minds had come to us even before the event to ask, we have to answer one crucial question: what was she wearing on her feet? As soon as Rowling walked on to the stage they attracted attention: a pair of very high black courts with a patent leather sheen that matched perfectly with her chic two-piece outfit.
We've found out that the shoes were Jimmy Choo's Anouk courts: a classic from the designer's collection currently available to buy at Saks Fifth Avenue for £376. The shoes, which have also been seen recently on Kristen Stewart, Jessica Biel and Cheryl Cole have a superb leg-lengthening effect and are the perfect finishing touch to an evening look.
