Sequin crush: Karen Millen's all over paillette peep
Karen Millen is tapping into the sequin trend with style and flair this season, both in its garments and in particular, its footwear. If you want to go in for a luxe party season look this winter, these gorgeous black and gold peep toe heels would certainly stand out from the crowd: their slightly muted sheen makes for a deeper, more understated glamour than the glitz you'll get from cheaper styles, and the velvet ankle strap adds distinction and flair.
Ribbed all round with black piping that matches the wide strap and slender heel, these shoes take style notes from all the big A/W 2012 designers. They're delicate and eye-catching at the same time, and would look just spectacular worn with some black mesh and crushed velvet. At £155 they're in line with Karen Millen's usual shoe price points, and we think they'd make a sound investment for parties this Christmas and beyond.
