Casual Friday is also pay day Friday for us here at Shoewawa HQ today, so we're all having plenty of fun seeking out new footwear finds to see us out of what will hopefully be the coldest time of the year! It's all about the flatforms once again this season, and while we're not seeing so many formal shoes and sandals going flat this year, trainers are very much embracing the look. Henry Holland has done a lot to influence this trend, which has further inspired styles like this fun baseball hi-top at Stylistpick.

They're made from a rugged, weatherproof black treated PU upper - which personally I find to be even better than leather on days when it's wet, snowy or generally a bit slushy. Multiple stripes on the thick soles lend character, along with a row of spiked studs at the tongue echoed further down the shoe. This is a great look to embrace now, as it's going to continue to be huge long into the summer. The 'Flame Black' shoe is £40 (no membership is required to buy).
