Once again, there is white stuff falling from the sky in much of the UK, and as the rest of the world laughs at us for being un-prepared, we can at least ensure our feet are protected from the onslaught of snow. And with even more #UKSnow forecast to fall this weekend, it's definitely a good idea to act now...

Snow boots (or 'moon boots' as some of us prefer to call them) are not exactly famed for their fashion credentials, but the selection is getting better - so whether you're looking for stylish snow wear or just something to keep you warm and dry, we can point you in the right direction.

Here are a few of our current favourites...

Top Row

Far left, Romika's Padded Calf snow boots are your basic snow boots for just getting through the frosty days and weeks ahead, but with plenty of high tech on board. They've been added to the sale at Debenhams, and they're designed to keep your toes warm and dry. Pull these on underneath your jeans when you head out, and your feet will be ready to slip into something more stylish when you get to where you want to be!

In the middle, we have a pair of dove grey wellies from our new fave winter fashion find, Ewe Style. Available to buy here, they are the cosiest wellies ever as they are lined with 100% thick pile merino fleece - while having all the usual waterproof properties of a wellington boot. There's a great range of colours available too, so these rank high on the style points!

Top right, our best value option is this classic Eskimo-style moon boot, which is great value for money at just £19.99. Its duvet-thick puffiness will ensure you keep warm, while its super thick soles protect your feet from the snowy ground. We love the cute snowflake detailing on the buttons!

Bottom Row:

On the left, Clarks Neeve Ella GTX boot is a super high-tech thigh length boot galvanized by ultra weatherproof GORE-TEX. The boot has a distinctive country feel, and would look right at home with a Barber jacket and optional dog! They've been reduced to £64.99 down from an original £130

In the middle, Tamaris is another brand that specialises in practical, no-nonsense footwear - which when you're trying to get home in the midst of a blizzard is exactly what you need! Their tall winter boots have all bases covered, and they come in brown black or silver at a cost of £70.

Bottom right. Emu's Asbhy boot is the closest you can get to a cosy ugg boot with a robust weatherproof coating. We love the zip at the side, which adds style points as well as making them easier to put on and off.
