Lanvin perspex brogue wedges. Yay or nay?
I love a bit of perspex in a shoe - and I also love a brogue. But can the two looks ever be combined? Lanvin have had a go at making a perspex-heeled brogue shoe this season and - well - I'm not convinced by the result. It's currently available to buy from the new collection at Net-a-Porter, priced at just shy of £1,000...
Not the most immediately attractive shoe in the history of footwear, is it? I'm sure it would have a certain class when worn by the right person and in the right setting, but seen in isolation I'm decidedly underwhelmed: perhaps it's the colours chosen, or could it be that brogue and perspex into shoe simply do not go?
Let me know what you think!
