Sophia Webster is one of the hottest young things in the footwear world at the moment, and having caught her last collection at London Fashion Week and being thoroughly wowed by her work, I think the hype is well deserved. I can't wait to see her autumn/winter 2013 collection at the LFW exhibition this weekend, but for the time being, here are some highlights from the Sophia Webster range available to buy from Net-a-Porter now.

Webster trained under Nicholas Kirkwood, and while his influence is clear in these designs they are very much her own creations. They are unashamedly girly, cute and colourful - and I particularly love the way she has embraced the transparent trend - using it to place tiny applique flowers, sequins and sprinkles in gravity-defying positions on the shoes. When Webster presented the collection to the press, she did so by placing her models in human-sized 'Barbie boxes', which really emphasized the toy-like qualities of her designs.
