Jade Burke writes: Bertie's offering for autumn/winter 2013 consists of some classic styles with a modern twist; in all the associated autumnal shades for winter. The new drop is notably more masculine than usual, with many new designs incorporating the androgynous trend featured throughout many designers' recent shows.

The backdrop for Bertie's new selection was themed as a day out in the forest, decorated with lush green grass, thick wooden logs topped off with sprigs of delicate flowers, which was the perfect combination of colours and textures to portray their A/W collection.

There was a great selection for us to view, but as always, Bertie's leather ankle boots were some of my favourites. However, the burnt orange ankle boots really caught my eye, thanks to their beautiful shade, I felt they truly encapsulated the autumn season. With each pair adorned with either bold, gold buckles or updated with comfortable laces, there will certainly be a great abundance for us to choose from when they finally hit the stores next season.

It is a well-known fact that Bertie's shoes are always exquisitely made with tough materials such as leather, which have ensured that this new collection of shoes is made for the hard weather we are faced with during winter. However, although the weather is inevitable, Bertie has also provided some exceptional shoes that will be great for Christmas. Including some striking metallic loafers, and some masculine peep toes heels, that will look great with a pair of smart trousers during the festive season.

I can't wait to this new selection on display in Dune stores nationwide, and I am sure that these will be a sell-out next season!
