We get quite dizzy with excitement when the Neiman Marcus sale rolls around here at Shoewawa. Why? Well, not only because it's a great way to get a host of amazing designer swag with generous reductions applied; the store has a tendency to suddenly drop the prices even further: remember that legendary Christmas sale when they suddenly cut their sale prices by an additional 40% for a day, just for the hell of it? Well today they've got things started with a further reduction of 25%.

That's what I'm talking about...

Tory Burch shoes in the Neiman Marcus sale

Tory Burch Amalie cage sandals £120 (was £240) >>

Tory Burch is one of those US labels we love that still offers a wider range in American stores. My eye was drawn to these sunny gold cage-style sandals from the SS 2013 collection, and I have to admit they are super tempting at half price.

Burberry shoes on sale at Neiman MarcusBurberry metallic snake peep-toe pumps £273 (was £545) >>

Staying with a gold theme, these absolutely extraordinary gold snake heels from Burberry are a once-in-a-lifetime purchase. They're also on sale with a superb double reduction, bringing their price down from £545 to a more attainable £273.

Diane Von Furstenberg shoes SS 2013

DVF's footwear for spring summer 2013 was one of the strongest shoe collections I can remember seeing yet from New York designer, and a particular highlight was this t-bar heel with its globe shaped metallic embellishments. Available also in shades of buff suede and black, this is an incredibly statement-making shoe you'll treasure forever. Great price too!

An absolutely iconic piece from Alexander McQueen's spring summer 2013 footwear collection, this arched strap sandal is a serious investment for fans of the label. I think this is the best price I've yet seen for any piece from this range.

B Brian Atwood in the Neiman Marcus sale

Finally, something fun and flirty from Hollywood favourite, B Brian Atwood! This slinky and minimalist shoe gives an unrivalled pop of neon and looks like jewellery for the feet when worn. Absolutely guaranteed conversation piece at cocktail parties!
