It was about this time last year that we featured the Stiletto Phone, and so it appears that the concept has come around again in the form of the High Heel Phone.
With technology chomping at the bit to attract more female buyers, this kitsch gadget is the perfect gift for the shoe obsessed friend/girlfriend/sister. I guess it's a bit predictable that it be in pink as well, huh? If it's your cup of tea, then order it now from Gadget4all.com for US$22.

How cute are these Miss Sixty New Orleans seam socks? I haven't worn knee high socks since high school when they were mandatory with our school uniforms, but there is something rather appealing about these grey socks with a contrasting red seam running down the back with the Miss Sixty logo scrawled across it. Somehow these socks are sexy and chic at the same time, only I wouldn't know what to wear them with unless I was on the set of Gossip Girl.

Quick question, who is willing to wear leg warmers this upcoming winter? We know Heidi Montag wore some in her latest video clip, but that is Heidi Montag in a 90s style aerobics outfit. Would you attempt leg warmers with leggings this winter? On one hang they will keep your legs snug and warm, especially if you want to wear a dress out and about with leggings, but on the other hand, leg warmers haven't been "cool" since the early 1990s... if you're willing to give the look a go, Alloy have a cute cable-knit pair for an affordable $8.50.

Perhaps I'm getting old, but aren't anklets a bracelet for the ankle? Turns out that the term ankle is open for interpretation because Nine West's Shirred Sparkle Anklet is showing us what else an anklet can look like. A ruched piece of stretch cotton/spandex, it wraps around your leg over tights or leggings - think 1990s legwarmer style. Interesting item, for only $6, it's worth a try if you're looking for a new accessory.

Lately I have been obsessed with storage ideas with shoes and clothes over flowing everywhere. First port of call is finding new methods of storing my shoes. You would think that keeping them in their shoe boxes and piling them one on top of another is good enough, but when none of the shoes end up back in their boxes, chaos ensues. One interesting idea I came across was this Rakku 12-Pocket Shoe Pod. Like a half-ferris wheel, each shoe has its own section with vinyl strips separating each pair of shoes from the other. I wouldn't stack heel after heel in this pod, but it would be handy for my collection of ballet flats and flat sandals. Not a bad buy for $49.99 don't you think?

We've all seen it: pretty, strappy stilettos (or any kind of open-backed shoe, really) worn with horrible, cracked heels. It totally ruins the effect of the shoes, which is Butter London's Stiletto stick sounds like it could be a good idea.
This is a solid stick that you rub onto your heels, delivering a non-greasy treatment that promises to cure those cracks, and allow you to wear your stilettos with pride. It's fairly pricey at £25, but it could just be worth it if you have an "open shoe" occasion coming up, but feel like keeping your feet under wraps. Get it as ASOS.

You can always spot the shoes of someone who drives a lot, can't you? The heels of the right shoe in particular tend to end up scuffed and dirty from resting against the floor of the car, and other than buying a dedicated pair of driving shoes, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. Well, not until now, anyway...
The Achilles Shield may not look pretty, but don't worry, it's not supposed to. It simply slides onto the back of your shoe (and off again when you reach your destination) and protects the leather or other material from damage. They come in a range of different styles and materials, and will fit most sizes of shoe. Best of all, they're only $9.99 each, which is a lot cheaper than a pair of new shoes!
