Lately I have been obsessed with storage ideas with shoes and clothes over flowing everywhere. First port of call is finding new methods of storing my shoes. You would think that keeping them in their shoe boxes and piling them one on top of another is good enough, but when none of the shoes end up back in their boxes, chaos ensues. One interesting idea I came across was this Rakku 12-Pocket Shoe Pod. Like a half-ferris wheel, each shoe has its own section with vinyl strips separating each pair of shoes from the other. I wouldn't stack heel after heel in this pod, but it would be handy for my collection of ballet flats and flat sandals. Not a bad buy for $49.99 don't you think?

We've all seen it: pretty, strappy stilettos (or any kind of open-backed shoe, really) worn with horrible, cracked heels. It totally ruins the effect of the shoes, which is Butter London's Stiletto stick sounds like it could be a good idea.
This is a solid stick that you rub onto your heels, delivering a non-greasy treatment that promises to cure those cracks, and allow you to wear your stilettos with pride. It's fairly pricey at £25, but it could just be worth it if you have an "open shoe" occasion coming up, but feel like keeping your feet under wraps. Get it as ASOS.

You can always spot the shoes of someone who drives a lot, can't you? The heels of the right shoe in particular tend to end up scuffed and dirty from resting against the floor of the car, and other than buying a dedicated pair of driving shoes, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. Well, not until now, anyway...
The Achilles Shield may not look pretty, but don't worry, it's not supposed to. It simply slides onto the back of your shoe (and off again when you reach your destination) and protects the leather or other material from damage. They come in a range of different styles and materials, and will fit most sizes of shoe. Best of all, they're only $9.99 each, which is a lot cheaper than a pair of new shoes!

I have to admit that Playboy isn't a brand I generally pay much attention to, but credit where it's due, and given that this is a blog about shoes, I think it would be remiss of me not to point out the cuteness that is this flip flop pendant, which you can find at ASOS for £18. I could do without the playboy logo, of course, but the pendant itself would make a nice gift for a fellow shoe lover. Or, of course, for yourself...

Touch up scuffs on your leather shoes with these handy Polish Pens by Foot Petals. Designed to be small enough to keep at your desk at work or in your handbag, these applicator pens allow you to touch with small scuffs before an important meeting. Unfortunately they only come in two colours - black and brown - and retail at $40 for the pair, but they are a handy buy for someone who's often in meetings and don't have time to give their shoes a good polish before that important meeting.

I am the biggest fan of heel cushions. Why? Well when you first break in a shoe, I find that the heel always rubs up (or cuts into) the heel of my foot. There is nothing bandaids can do for more than an hour or so because they just don't provide much resistance to a new and stiff shoe which hasn't had time to mould to the shape of your foot and the way you walk. This where these heel cushions come in. They stick to the inside heel and act as a buffer between your foot and the heel, and if the shoe is a little too big, it gives you a nice comfortable fit. What more could you ask for from this handy £4 fix?

Sore feet? Shoes pinching? Been walking around all day in shoes that really should've been left at home? Well, this foot cream by Anatomicals - a brand I love almost as much for their quirky product names as for the products themselves - will soon soothe your tired tootsies.
It's called Gorgan (Gone, Gone, Gone) Zola (hee!) it's only £2 from ASOS and it claims to leave your feet feeling refreshed, cool and moisturised. Sounds good to me...
