A pair of £9 neon pink court heels have caused a fashion frenzy at Primark stores, becoming the fastest-selling item in the history of the budget retailer.
With the credit crunch weighing heavily on shoppers, the candy-coloured courts are now flooding eBay, fetching bids of up to £22.
"They're a very classic court and a nice quality," Helen Penny of Primark told the Daily Mail.
The sell-out shoe will soon be available in the same style in a range of different colours next month such as teal blue, coral and white.

At this time of year, pretty much every day is 'Bargain Tuesday', thanks to all of the sales that are on, but I thought these bow front court shoes from ASOS were a particularly good deal at just £24.47. Square toes are still proving popular with shoe designers, so these ones add the now-familiar bow trim to a square toed patent upper, which is available in either cream or black. Get them here.

Matalan have really gone to town with the sequined shoes this season, so if you like these babies, you're going to love the rest of the Christmas collection over there. Trust me. As for these shoes: well, lots of sequins on top of a traditional t-bar court shoe, plus a bow. I know I probably shouldn't like it, but I can be a bit of a magpie for shiny things, so these have put a smile on my face at least. Another thing to put the smile on my face? They're only £12. (No online shopping just yet at Matalan, though, so I'm afraid you're going to have to find these in-store if you love them,)

Can you ever have too many pairs of ballet pumps? I don't think so. They're like chocolates in a box: every time you think you've had more than enough, you see one more that you just have to have... It doesn't help that these ones by ASOS are available in both pink and purple, and I can't decide which colour I like best, either. Probably the winter-appropriate purple, I would think, but then the pink is calling out to me too. Good job they only cost £12, eh? That way you can totally justify buying them both...

Can you believe it's mid-season sale time already? Not they we're complaining, of course, but wow, doesn't time fly! Faith are one of the first off the mark, with a sale offering up to 70% off some styles. The bright yellow 'Carbie' pumps on the left of the picture above, for instance, are now down to £40, while the 'Cayan' lace-ups on the right are now £40. Among the bargains (hey, it is Bargain Tuesday after all) I managed to find these cute red 'Nora' T-bar Mary Janes. While there isn't anything particularly striking about this shoe, they would easily fall under the 'old reliable' section of your wardrobe. Plus, a little flash of red never did harm an outfit. The best bit is that they have been slashed in price from £60 down to a very reasonable £30. Check out the other items on sale now, before stocks run out.
