One shop whose windows I've spent a good deal of time staring lovingly into is Spice Shoes in Inslington - and it's got a sale on at the moment that might just see me cross the threashold one of these days! Among the treasures I've picked out are these very unusual, high-heeled brogues by Camper; an interesting change of direction for the mostly utilitarian brand. They're down to £79

Toss out those heeled brogues of last year. This season its all about the flat brogue shoes. Now while I don't know quite how practical this lot are, especially in the wet wintry months ahead, they are still pretty darn cute.
Perhaps it is the contrasting thick laces, or the shiny patent leather. Whatever is drawing your attention, you'll be pleased as punch to hear the price tag - just £30 from Miss Selfridge. Match them with your favourite pair of long socks, and you're good to go.

After some decidedly experimental catwalk offerings earlier in the year, Prada is back to form with these sensible yet quirkily stylish brogue court shoes. For anyone who wants to stand out while looking super-smart, these shoes are a godsend, and I can see them commanding serious respect in the office when worn with a pencil skirt! The black and brown two-tone contrasts beautifully with the amber diamente gem, which is encased in faux-fur. £195 at Yoox

If you're looking for cut-price glamour (and, let's face it, who isn't these days?) then Belle & Mimi are definitely a brand worth keeping an eye on. The shoes are sold at Barratts, which should give you an idea as to their inexpensiveness, and most of the season's trends are rendered pretty faithfully.
