So £110 on a pair of deck shoes sounds a lot, but it's easy to see that the 'build quality' of these shoes is really something, and the leather (which My Wardrobe's writers describe very eloquently as "squashy") looks so soft I almost want to curl up inside them!
Whichever shade you go for, the bright, juicy colours make perfect comfy-chic beach shoes and I'm a particular fan of the green, which when viewed up close looks the exact shade of freshly mown lawn. £110 at My-Wardrobe

No one ever said casual had to be boring, and these ' SuedeTap Jazz Pumps' from Office certainly aren't.
They also happen to be, teal, my favourite colour. Flat and comfy looking, but still interesting and stylish, I'd say these are the perfect example of a casual shoe. Well for me at least, because these would be the most casual I'd ever get!
Plus they're currently on sale in Office, down from £35 to £20! Could they get any better? I think not.

Ash - label of choice for the lady who'd never normally be seen in trainers - can be relied upon to come up with classy and sophisticated looking shoes that are outrageously easy to wear. They don't change their styles often, but these lo-rise silver flats with punched out stars are new on me, and are perfect for summer due to the openness of their design. £95 from ASOS

These flat Mary Janes from ASOS are in a great colour for this summer's trends and look like they'd see you through the season in comfort and style - even if the little strap does remind me a bit of the shoes I used to get bought for me from Mothercare when I was a wee tot.
Lightweight and practical, they're such a great price that if you're the sort of person who lives in flatties, you might even want to think about getting the set (they come in red and navy too) to alternate with your wardrobe. £20 at ASOS

I'm not really a casual pumps kinda girl but I'd be happy to make an exception for these pink love heart stamped shoes from Topshop. In fact, if these had been around while I was at school, I probably wouldn't have forged so many notes to get out of PE. Probably.
Comfortable looking yet pretty, these would be great for summer days out where lots of walking is involved or. If the hearts and the pink are too much for you, the Tempo-Heart Print Lace-Up Pumps are also available in charcoal and white and are a bargain at £15. [Steph Powell]

These cute little slingback pumps from Schuh are the very definition of a 'holiday shoe' to me. They're practical -- light and bendy for easy packing and comfy for jaunts along the beach -- but crucially they also have a jolly-looking ebmellishment on the front and a polka-dot inner sole that says 'I'm on holiday! Don't take me too seriously'.

I think these high-gloss patent confetti-spangled trainers by Maison Martin Margiela are absolutely wild! While I wasn't initially sold on the raw rubber sole look that seems to be coming into season, I think it lends addtional contrast to these shoes, which only adds to their appeal. They look about as smart as it's possible for a trainer to get, and the shiny finish makes them super-practical too. Only for the serious trainer buff, they're £265 at Browns.
If that's a bit outside your budget, you could always try creating your own confetti effect. See below!
