I I just can't stop staring at these Nike Liberty-print patchwork trainers. To me, they look like what would happen if you melted down a million Hollie Hobbie dolls and painted a Nike 'swoosh' on top of them - somehow without the car-crash result you'd expect. Instead, Nike have actually managed to achieve what I thought was the impossible: they've created a pretty pair of trainers.
The 'extremely limited edtiion' patchwork shoes are one of three styles designed especially for Nike by Liberty, following an earlier teamup that proved hugely successful. I love this style to bits, and can see them looking folksy and fab with a pair of mid-blue denim jeans and a crisp, pale spring top. Available from Liberty at £85 [Via Style Bubble]

Veja are one of the most ethical trainer brands around, and I happen to think they design some of the most stylish casual shoes you can find at the moment, too. Until now, they've stuck mostly to muted taupes, beiges, blues and monochrome shades. But pink and black volley shoe just oozes chic. Following the wonderful (if a little odd) news that Cadbury's is planning to introduce 'fart free chocolate' into the market, I was intrigued to see that the nation's favourite chocolate brand had got into the footwear market, too. At least, that's what I thought when I first set eyes on these cow print and 'Cadbury's purple' trainers, which are part of Nike's new collection that's just launched in Japan. An 'Asia exclusive', you're unlikely to see these crazy kicks in many shops, but you can get them online at Kix-files for $80

Vans have brought out some pretty juicy designs before now, but these watermelon board shoes, with their green soles and printed 'pips' are just rocking my world right now.
They're a taster from the label's forthcoming 'Fruits' collection, which will include shoes based on oranges and green apples -- and should hit our shores by summer. The brand's three classic styles; the Era, the Slip-On, and the Chukka, will all be getting a fruity makeover. Watch this space for information!
