Chie Mihara's 'Bimi' high strap sandal - does it bridge the seasons?

bimi1.JPG Showing you Chie Mihara's 'Bimi' high strap sandal now probably isn't very seasonally accurate so late in the summer, but personally I think the purple colour of these heels is far more autumnal than summery anyway. They're fairly pricey at £165 but because they have a 'pink ticket', they come with a gift to the customer (i.e. a reduction of £20 to £145) which is such a cute way to announce reduced items in the summer sale.

How would you make the 'Bimi' sandals work during the autumn, and what would you pair them with?

The sexy ‘Belinda’ from Chie Mihara

bg2991173911255CM%20Belinda%20Black.jpg
How cute is this shoe! The perforated leather (which makes it look all polka dotty) sits on a pretty conical heel and there’s a leather rose on the ankle strap. The ‘Belinda’ black from Chie Mihara is currently on sale at £111.30, down from £159, and I want it. I really, really want it. It looks like the kind of shoe to go dancing in – and I don’t mean out nightclubbing, I’m talking tangoing the night away with a very sexy fella. Not that I’ve ever danced the tango, mind, but if I had this shoe I definitely would.

Adele Clark blue shoes – but only for a size four

698_large.jpg
I never know whether to give a pair of shoes like this a try – the bright blue really shouldn’t go with the snakeskin, but it does, and I bet they look fabulous peeping out from under a pair of trousers or jeans. This is a one off pair from Adele Clarke that have been worn to photo shoots so have slight scuffing to the soles. If that doesn’t bother you, and you’re a size four, you can get this pair for the bargain price of £80, down from £395!

Amalfi 'Corel' Slingback Pump

_5389584red.jpgSensible, modest - yet sleek and sexy. I'm quite taken by these Amalfi 'Corel' slingback pumps and I think they look fantastic in all of the available colors (a sleek black, a prim navy, a rich brown, and a deep red) but the red is quite my favorite. I've been looking for the perfect red heels that I can wear to work (woe, my workplace is extremely conservative!) without calling too much attention to my footwear and these are it! At the sale price of US$89.90, down from US$139.95, I simply cannot resist. Must...match...with...wrap...dress!

Bottega Veneta velvet slingbacks in the summer sales

Bottega%20Veneta%20velvet.jpg
If you’re a fan of the Bottega Veneta velvet slingbacks we’ve featured previously then I have good news for you – they are in the Net a Porter sale for just £118, down from £295. Now, you can call me an old misery if you want but I have to question the wisdom of buying velvet shoes – won’t horrible things happen to them in the rain? If you still want them (maybe you’ll just wear them indoors), get in quick as they are selling out fast.

Pink multi slide heels from Pucci

763944_112M-7837_300.jpg
For me getting ready is the best part of going out. There’s the hot shower with wonderful toiletries, the glass of wine while doing my make-up, then twirling in front of the mirror in my beautiful dress. But the absolute best part is slipping on a pair of killer high heels, especially if they’re as beautiful and impractical as these from Pucci (currently US$290, down from US$580). The print is classic and the jewels are gorgeous, I just don’t think I’ll be able to walk in them. I hope someone’s ordered a taxi.
