If reading Shoewawa has inspired you to share your shoes (and other things) with the world, then you'll be happy to know we've teamed up with Vox to offer you invitations to join their personal blogging service. Think of it as a social blogging community, a sort of Blogger meets MySpace hybrid. Vox allows you to blog without all the complicated coding, share photos, video and audio, add friends and family to your neighbourhood and even list the books and music you own. Many of our writers have been using Vox for a while now and we're absolutely hooked!

If you're a UK size six, like designer bargains and are looking for a nice pointed low-heel court - I've found the perfect shoe. Sadly, these Beatrix Ong courts are only available in a six, but if you do happen to have the magic shoe size, they're currently reduced down to £50. I'm a long-term lover of Beatrix Ong, and believe me, I'm cursing my size seven feet right now... or maybe they wouldn't pinch too much?
If you live in Newcastle, Glasgow or Cardiff, you need to get yourself down to New Look on the 7th, 11th and 14th September respectively. New Look (as forumites will know, one of my favourite budget shoe haunts) are currently in the middle of their More Shoes promotion, with freebies and pampering nights across the country and full-on parties in the cities listed above. London ladies had the chance to snag free shoes earlier this week, but if you missed out fear not, these fab shoe boots are only £30 and there are some fantastic wooden heeled patent shoes for £15 (I wore the black ones all day yesterday without a blister in sight).
Visit the More Shoes mini site for more info.
Perhaps the lure of a free keyring isn't quite enough of an incentive to blow the rent on $925 worth of Christian Louboutin one-season wonders, but if you're still resisting the ankle boot / ankle shoe trend, these super high-end numbers might be enough bring you over to the dark side (I gave in on Saturday in Bertie. Thank heavens for sales). These babies can be picked up at Neimans now. Any Louboutin purchase will snag you a free red sole keyring until 8th Sept, which would be great were it not for the fact that you'll probably have to sell your car to buy the shoes...
A week or so ago I told you about our reverse auction, where you can snag £500 of gift vouchers for your choice of shoe shops (from a long list of options). Consider this a little nudge, and a reminder that there's still time to send that text message and try to blag something for (relatively) nothing.
All the info on how to bid is here. Good luck, and remember me when you're going mad Selfridges...
Don't forget that there's still time for you to bid on the shopping spree prize in our reverse auction. For the cost of a text message and the smallest individual bid you can manage, you could snag £500 to spend at Faith, Selfridges, Topshop or any manner of other choices.
The full details are here. Good luck!
Ladies, take a deep breath. I'm about to offer you the chance to get your hands on £500 of shoe vouchers for the cost of a text message. "We've teamed up with Bidclever.com to offer you an auction with a twist: The twist is that the LOWEST UNIQUE BID wins. That means that your bid, as well as being the lowest, has to be the only one at that price when the auction closes. So, if yours is the lowest bid amount in pence that nobody else has placed, you win the item at the price you have bid.
The winning bidder gets £500 of vouchers to spend in the shop of their choice from a list which includes Shoewawa faves like Faith, Topshop, Clarks, Selfridges, Dolcis and Ravel (where these £55 'Coleen' heels are from)...
