Pied à Terre Garlasco Exotic Pumps

051987128275_1.jpg

I'm a big lover of exotic leathers and luckily for me they've been a huge trend for a while now. I always keep an eye out for skin-stunners and recently I've been hunting for a pair of flats that are suitable for work yet also satisfy my exotic-skin-addiction.

So joy of joys I found some...these Pied à Terre Garlasco flats! Exotic skin and pumps together -it doesn't get much better. These are just too beautiful, I heart the super luxe gold/cream colour it's guaranteed to add a touch of class to any outfit. Even if the outfit is Primarni.

They're reasonably priced too at £85 which is pretty darn good compared to some of the other exotics out there. The shoes are made from fish skin which gives it the larger ruffled pattern. A little bizarre and slightly icky I know but it's a nice change from standard snakeskins!

If the delicate colour just won't work in your wardrobe then P-à-D also do them in pink, black, and a white/black combo. I've got a ridiculous amount of pumps and these have already put half of them to shame.

Find them at Shoestudio and Pied à Terre Stores Nationwide

Sale fun with KG taupe and grey 'Annabelle' shoes

KGtaupeflats.jpgFor some reason, most of the flat shoes I buy tend to be black, but I've become very taken with these Kurt Geiger 'Annabelle' shoes.

The fact that they're on sale, like most shoes at the moment (woop) have helped slightly, but I like the patent leather and I really like the combination of taupe and grey.

They just look effortlessly stylish, and even though they're flats, you can tell they would really smarten up an outfit. You can buy them from Kurt Geiger for £75 (they were £95) and if you'd like them in black too, luckily the option is available!

Snake Side Fan flats from Topshop

32K13VGRY_large.jpgI'm in dire need of new flat shoes, since my stand-by pair were pretty much destroyed by that monsoon we had last week.

These ones from Topshop seem like they might be a suitable replacement. Snake effect grey leather with a big turquoise bow on the side, they're casual but eye-catching and it wouldn't hurt to add them to my collection, now would it?

The 'Kalea' Snake Side Fan Court is £50 and also comes in black. Maybe I'll get those too.

Funky Green Lizard Pumps by French Sole

frenchsolepumps2.jpg

I am an absolute sucker for a pretty ballet pump and the new collection at pump-powerhouse French Sole has further fuelled my addiction.

With a selection of rainbow bright patent and lizard effect leathers they are all downright gorgeous but I have fallen head-over-heels (literally!) in love with these Funky Green Lizard pumps. A pair of brighter than bright turquoise beauties with a dainty gold trim and bow.

French Sole have got the perfect pump shape so feet feel snug-as-a-bug-in-a-rug in these! In their popular low-cut style they are perfect for Summer and can be worn with anything from a ditzy little floral dress to a jeans/blazer combo but I plan to wear them with a white cotton dress. I just wish everything in my wardrobe was this colour!

They are £89 at French Sole

Antik Batik Langoa beaded flat thong sandals

antik_langoa_flat_thong_sandals.jpg

When I see these beaded sandals by Antik Batik, I immediately think "music festival". That could also be down to the fact that as of this Saturday, I am Spain-bound, with the Benicassim Festival at the forefront of my mind. And I must say, I'm a little disappointed I only just found these shoes on the Thursday afternoon before I fly out - there is no chance I will be able to receive these in time.

Oh well, there's always next year! The good thing about Antik Batik shoes, is they are always boho (not just trend-focused) and therefore, they'll still have a pair of festival-worthy sandals for me in 2010. If you've got a festival on the horizon, and enough time to wait for shipping from the US, they're on sale (though which shoes aren't these days!?) for the really amazing price of $173.60 from Shopbop.

L'Wren Scott peep-toe ballerina flats

lwren_scott_peep_toe_ballerina_flats.jpg

There's always room for a classic pair of ballerina flats in your shoe cupboard - and we'd even go as far as to say, it doesn't matter how many you own already!

You will always find an occasion for them, and it's always great to have back-ups (there's that old Kelly-rationalising-shoe-purchases mentality I sometimes revert to coming out again).

However, these L'Wren Scott peep-toe shoes are completely gorgeous, and thoroughly deserve any rationalising I may have to do in order to own them. They are a chic nude shade with a pretty rosette embellishment on the toe and an elasticated heel to help them stay put on your feet. They have been reduced by 50% to £207.98 from TheOutnet.

ASOS leather closed back thong sandals

asos_leather_closed_back_thong_sandals.jpg

Okay, question: How long would you stick around reading Shoewawa if I told you these leather thong sandals were on sale at ASOS right now for the paltry sum of £8? Yeah, I figure you've probably departed by now, to snap up a pair for yourself - the sacrifices I make to bring you great shoes, huh? (But I'm also hoping you'll return later, to read about more fab shoes...)

ASOS have taken a simple design and added a few extras on the back of the shoe to make them more interesting than your average flip flop, and as you can see from the picture on the right, they look really lovely on the foot. They're available in four colourways - gold, turquoise, dark pewter and orange - and, as I said before, they're just 8 quid, which is a great price for some good-looking real leather sandals (as you can see, I'm having a hard time believing that part!)
